The property also boasts mature native hardwood trees. The local caretaker has worked with the owner for over 10 years and could continue managing the property if you desired him to do so.

The beach surf town of Canoa is just a short 3 miles away (5 km) and boasts miles of wide, sandy beaches. Canoa is also one of Ecuador's top surfing and paragliding locations.

The town of Canoa offers a multitude of beachfront restaurants and bars. You can horseback ride, take surfing lessons, paraglide or just hang out with a cold beer in a hammock! The city of Bahia de Caraquez is a 25 minute drive from the property and has medical facilities, banks, and a major shopping mall.
