TV standThere are many extra touches that make this home special. All the windows and doors have screens to keep the bugs out. The windows are all large allowing lots of light and air to flood the house. And you don’t need to worry about the neighbors looking in because we’re pretty high up.

The ceiling of the house is finished with specially treated architectural bamboo giving the home an attractive tropical beach-look (but not attractive to termites). And the concrete roof is finished with local grass to give the house a more traditional finish.

The large, open balcony is ideal for outdoor dining, entertaining or for putting your feet up and watching the incredible sunsets. A dining table seats 6 and outdoor couches are big enough to stretch out on.

A large pool with an expansive deck separates the main house from the guest cabaña. Lounge chairs are perfect for guests and a pizza oven/grill and outdoor food preparation area will allow you to put your cooking skills on display.

The pool pump and filter are housed in an easily accessible room just off the deck that is large enough to be used for storage as well.

The Guest Cabana is an independent unit that’s perfect for visiting family and friends. It has one bedroom, a kichenette and access off the pool deck. It has a private street entrance as well.

The cabaña is currently being advertised as an AirBnB and generates between $600-$800 in monthly income. Of course, you’re under no obligation to continue being a BnB host, but the option of a regular side income is appealing to many.

It’s a big house with expansion possibilities

The main living area is on the ‘top floor’ of the house. The ‘ground floor’ is currently undeveloped and is used for storage but it’s big enough to construct more living space, more bedrooms or even another independent apartment.
